Clover Devices

All devices have a 1 year manufacturer warranty and Customer can select a monthly license plan directly through their Clover account.

Clover Mini LTE - Includes Min LTE 3rd Gen device plus Starter Kit $812 plus shipping

Clover Flex LTE Handheld Device - Includes Flex LTE 3rd Gen device plus Starter Kit - $609 per device plus shipping.

License Fee: Clover requires a License fee the first device is free ($0) with additional devices: $7.95 per device

Return Policy: Devices can be returned within 30 days of ordering with no restocking fee.  Customer will be responsible for paying for return shipping fees.  Restocking fees will apply for device returns outside of this 30 day window and this process will require working with the Finance and Payment Teams to determine costs and to pre-approve any returns.

WIFI or LTE: Wi-Fi or LTE connection is needed for each device. Devices do come with the option of purchasing LTE data for an additional fee.
Credit card processing interchange rates are VARIABLE and are a pass-through charge from the card brands (Visa, MC, Discover, Debit). Rates are impacted by many factors:
● The conditions of the transaction (chip vs swiped vs keyed vs internet)
● The type of card (personal, corporate, debit)
● The type of merchant (restaurant, grocery, shoe store, website)
● The data elements passed with the transaction (AVS, chip data)
You may notice that different interchange rates are applied to different transactions on your existing card processing statements. An individual transaction will fall into one of dozens of interchange categories based on a number of criteria associated with the transaction, so please note that the effective rate is a blended rate that includes transaction charges and other fees.
Additional surcharges may apply for American Express transactions. and a separate blended rate and per transaction charge for Card Present and Card Not Present AMEX transactions.  Unless otherwise agreed to in writing in an order form between the parties, your processing rates will be:

Card Present (in person payments) 2.3% per + $0.30 transaction

Card Not Present (online e-commerce payments) 2.8% + $0.30 per transaction

Amex surcharges of +1% may apply

Under this sub-merchant processing agreement, you will receive one blended rate and a per transaction charge for Non-American Express AMEX Card Present and Card Not Present transactions.

Chargeback Fee: $15

A credit card chargeback fee occurs when a cardholder disputes a particular charge on his or her credit card statement to nullify the transaction. This means the cardholder is requesting the card-issuing bank to return the funds back to his or her bank account.  

Monthly PCI Fee: $19 per MID

A merchant identification number (MID).
These charges stem from a new policy implemented by our banking partner, FiServ, related to the processing of transactions. This is a mandatory fee affecting all transactions to ensure compliance and security, which is automatically applied to our customers.   

Annual Debit Network Fees: $18 - $100

The annual debit network fees which are assessed by each Debit Network.  These fees are passed through to each sub-merchant based on the stated fee and activity during the stated period for the different networks used: PULSE,NYCE,CULIANCE, STAR, ACCEL

Payment Device Requirement

If in person payments are requested, you will need to purchase one of the following Clover devices through our Companyus.  Your sales team will provide you with pricing based on your needs.  All devices have a 1 year warranty and require a monthly license plan.

Payments Plan (Standard):  $0.00 for the first device and $7.95 for each additional device.  This plan allows you to accept payments and view transaction reports.  Other options are available for an additional fee for Payments Plus, Essentials and Optional LTE (Data) Services.
